Creating a Submit button in a Qualtrics survey

By default, every Qualtrics survey ends with the same blue arrow that also indicates "Next". If left unchanged, this can be confusing for respondents who do not realize they have reached the end of the survey and may submit their responses prematurely.

This document walks through the steps to change the last blue arrow into a Submit button so that your respondents know they have reached the end of the survey/form.

1. With the survey open in Edit mode, highlight the last block of the survey by clicking just inside the outer edge. (Many surveys only have one block.)
2. From the panel on the left, select Next/Previous button text.
   
   
3. For Next Button Text, enter "Submit".
4. Save.
