Effective July 22, 2024, UW-Platteville will use Okta cloud authentication to access Single Sign-On applications. The first time you login to an SSO application after the switch, you will need to connect Okta to your Duo account. Follow these steps, which include the new two-page login process:
- Enter your username and click Next.
- Enter your password, and click Verify.
- 3. To set up your security method, click Set up.
- 4. To set up Duo, click Enroll and follow the usual verification process.
Once the process is successfully completed, Okta and Duo will be connected. Going forward, you will log into SSO applications with the two-page process and using Duo as you always have.
