Self-syncing a Duo fob

Directions on how to resync a Duo fob (also known as a token). After a period of time of inactivity, the fob will no longer work and needs to be synced again.

The images below shows what the display will look like when the fob needs to be re-synced in the new and old interfaces. 
Incorrect passcode. Enter a passcode from a hardware token.
 
Incorrect passcode. Try again when you're ready.
 
1. To re-sync a fob you will need to Enter a Passcode three times.  After you receive the error listed above, simply wait until the screen on your fob times out and the passcode disappears.
Choose an authentication method.
 
Enter your passcode.Once your fob screen is blank press the button on the fob again and enter the new passcode that displays on your fob. 
 
3. Repeat Step 2 two more times . You will need to use a different passcode each time.
 
After the third passcode, the fob should be correctly synced, and you may being using it again. To ensure it doesn't become inactive, you must use the fob at least once every 21 days.
