Launching Civil 3D with WisDOT Plugin - Lab Computers

The WisDOT Civil 3D plugin is provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and is installed per user. The plugin must be installed before the Civil 3D 2024 WisDOT application becomes available.

Installing the WisDOT Civil 3D plugin

The WisDOT Civil 3D 2024 plugin must be installed for each user that logs in to a computer workstation. To install the plugin, perform the following steps:

1. Locate the Update WisDOT C3D icon on the Windows Desktop and double-click to launch the installer.
   
   


2. In the install utility, click the Install button.
   
   


3. Once the installation completes, there should be a new icon on the Windows Desktop, Civil 3D 2024 WisDOT. Double-click to launch Civil 3D with the plugin.
