Making appointments in Navigate360

Multiple campus resources offer appointment scheduling through Navigate360. Students may see different appointment scheduling options than other students, as Navigate360 uses information like what classes you are enrolled in and who is on your assigned success team to display appointment scheduling options. 

Getting started

Select the rocketship icon at the bottom of the screen, and then select the "Appointments" menu that pops up. On desktop, choose "Appointments" from the side menu.

The appointments home page will show you any upcoming appointments you have scheduled. If you would like to schedule another appointment, select the blue "Schedule an Appointment" button. 

On this page, the first dropdown menu is, "What type of appointment would you like to schedule?" Choose the option that best fits your needs. If the option you are seeking does not appear, this likely means that the person or office you are hoping to connect does not use Navigate for scheduling. You can reach out to that department over email, submit a Handraise request within Navigate360, or contact stars@uwplatt.edu for more information.

Making an appointment

After selecting the type of appointment you want to schedule, the next dropdown menu will ask you to specify a "Service," meaning what kind of help you are looking to receive from that resource. When you have completed this prompt, click on "Find Available Time".

The next screen will include details about the available staff, locations, and appointment times for your request. Review your options or apply additional filters as needed. Different resources and services will provide different options, including if virtual or in-person appointments are available for different staff members. 

After selecting all the required options and choosing an appointment time that works for you, you will be taken to the "Review Appointment Details and Confirm" page. Verify that you have chosen your preferred options. If you have not yet specified if you want to meet in person or virtually, there may be a dropdown asking you to choose. Please also provide a comment in the box labeled, "Would you like to share anything else?" Any staff member you are meeting with will benefit from additional comments from you to better prepare for your appointment. 

Finally, confirm that you'd like to receive email and text reminders of your appointment, and that the phone number listed is correct. Then click "Schedule". 

You should receive a confirmation email with additional details regarding your appointment. You may also receive reminders over text or email of your upcoming appointments. 

Cancelling an appointment

Once you have appointments scheduled, they will appear on the appointments home screen (accessed by selecting the rocketship icon and then "Appointments". You can verify when and where your upcoming appointments are schedule by clicking on individual appointments from this page.

You can also cancel any appointments you have scheduled. Click on the individual appointment from the "Upcoming Appointments" menu. Choose "Cancel Appointment" at the bottom of the screen. You can choose to provide a reason why you are cancelling. Please try to cancel appointments in advance.
