Requesting a Free Bluebeam Revu Academic Student License

Summary

Bluebeam offers a free academic license for educators and students. The process to obtain the license involves signing up with Bluebeam and providing proof of being a student or educator. This license will need to be renewed annually.

Requesting a Bluebeam License

  1. Visit the Bluebeam Academic Program website.
  2. Click Request a Free Subscription.

  3. Enter your University of Wisconsin-Platteville email address and select United States as your server region.

  4. Select your role: Student or Educator. Complete any additional academic information requested.

  5. Complete the remaining application information.

  6. If prompted, upload documentation verifying your current student or educator status. Bluebeam uses SheerID to verify academic eligibility.

  7. Submit your application and follow any instructions to confirm your email address. Verification is typically completed quickly but may take up to 24 hours.
