Instructions for enabling JavaScript for each browser

Body

Follow the listed steps for your browser. The instructions below have been verified to work for all currently supported versions of these browsers.

Chrome - Windows and Mac

JavaScript is enabled by default.

  1. Click on Customize and control Google Chrome (the icon with three stacked horizontal lines) > Settings
  2. Select the Show advanced settings...
  3. Under Privacy, click on the Content settings... button.
  4. Under the JavaScript section, verify that Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) is selected.

Firefox - Windows and Mac

JavaScript is enabled by default.

Internet Explorer - Windows

  1. Select the Tools > Internet Options menu.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom Level button.
  4. Select the Scripting > Active Scripting > Enable button.

Edge - Windows

JavaScript is enabled through group policy, which is managed by ITS.

Opera - Windows

  1. Click the Opera button
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select Websites on the left side.
  4. Check Allow all sites to run JavaScript.

Safari - Windows

  1. Click on the Gear icon > Preferences.
  2. Select the Security tab > check Enable JavaScript.

Safari - Mac

  1. Select Safari > Preferences.
  2. Select Security.
  3. Under Web content, verify that Enable JavaScript is checked.
