Jabber settings for selecting the speaker and microphone that Jabber will use for phone calls.

Once Jabber is running and connected to phone services, you can select the sound devices Jabber will use for making and receiving phone calls. To adjust these settings:

  3. Within the Audio settings section, scroll down and click on the Advanced >> link to arrange your device order. You will see audio devices for "Ringer/Alerts", "Speaker:", and "Microphone:". Devices which are greyed out are devices which have been previously plugged in or used but are not currently present. Devices which are black are currently present. Select a device and use the up and down arrows to arrange them in order of preference. NOTE: You cannot reorder the devices used for Ringer/Alerts. By default, Jabber will ring on all available audio devices.
