Overview

Description

Captioning services are provided for free. If you are requesting a rush order, we will try to accommodate your request in house. However, if we cannot meet your needs, we will submit your request to an external paid service provider. In that case, you will need to provide and account number for a chargeback.

Information needed for Request to be Completed

• Turnaround
  • Standard (typically within 10 business days)
  • Rush (48 hours)
  • Rush (24 hours)
• Account Code - not needed for standard turnaround
• Additional Notes - Attach a spreadsheet or supply a link to the video's source (My Media, YouTube, SharePoint, etc.) If it is My Media, you will need to grant access to the UWPLT-Caption-Group

Cost

All "best effort" requests are completed in-house for free by staff members. Depending on available resources and the level of demand when requests are submitted, staff may not be able to complete rush orders in house. Therefore, and account number for chargebacks is required on all rush orders. If your request needs to be submitted to a professional captioning service, this is the account that  chargeback will be billed to.
