Cross-Listing Canvas Courses

Overview

Description

When you cross-list a course, you move students from secondary courses into the primary course. If you are the instructor for all of the sections that you want to cross-list, you can complete the process yourself. However, instructors cannot remove cross-listings when done wrong (only admins can).  If you feel more comfortable having an administrator do this for you, complete this form before the start of the semester.

Information needed for Request to be Completed

You will need the following information to complete this request:

  • Primary Course SIS ID or URL
  • Secondary Course(s) SIS ID(s) or URL(s)

How to get this Service

Click the Request Service button and completed the form; a Canvas Admin will process the request and follow up with you if needed for any additional questions.

Eligibility

Professors/Faculty of the courses will be responsible for submitting the cross-listing request.
