Exceptions to any aspect of this policy may be made only by the Chancellor or delegated designee. Designation of the delegated designee should be in writing and maintained in the proper office.
Documentation justifying exceptions shall be maintained at the institution. Please review this policy in its entirety for guidance.

COMMENT: Local policies must detail the use of exceptions. Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance should be consulted prior to granting exception. Exceptions to be fully documented and subject to campus and system audit.
