Canvas - Page Not Found login error

When clicking on a Canvas link that directs you straight to a course, you may get a prompt to re-authenticate.  In the following screen, if you select "UW-Platteville" and it takes you directly to a "Page Not Found" error, then you will need to follow the steps below:

 

 

  1. Clear your browser's cache and close your browser
  2. Re-open your browser
  3. Click on your Canvas course link to load your course
  4. When prompted, select the "UW-Platteville - Legacy" option from the drop-down
  5. Sign-in using your UW-Platteville credentials

This should take you to the course that you are trying to get to and it should load properly.  If you continue to have issues, please reach out to ITS for support.
