When you access your list of advisees from your advisor center and click on view student details, your advisee student center page will be viewed. If a student has a FERPA (Family Educational Rights to Privacy Act) hold, you will see this blue shade.
If you see this shade, you can’t release any information on this student.

When viewing a student’s ‘Student Services Center’ under campus community, you will see this blue shade if a student has a FERPA hold.
