Deleting a profile in the Outlook Desktop Client

  1. From within Outlook, click on the File tab, then Account Settings, then Manage Profiles.

  2. Click on Show Profiles.

  3. There should only be one profile which is already selected. Click Remove.

  4. You will receive a warning that offline cached content will be deleted. This is the data which is likely corrupt. Click Yes.

  5. Close the Outlook Desktop Client, wait about 10-15 seconds and re-open Outlook. You should be prompted to create a new profile. The name you provide for the profile does not matter, you just cannot use the previously used default name of "Outlook". Follow the process of setting up your account. This may include signing in with Duo.
