Yealink EXP50 Expansion Module

The Yealink EXP50 Expansion Module adds 20 physical keys and three display pages, providing up to 60 programmable keys per module. Speed dial contacts assigned in Teams will automatically populate on the expansion module.

Assign a Speed Dial Key

Someone in Your Organization

  1. Press and hold an available key on the expansion module.
  2. The Assign Line Key window appears on the phone.
  3. Select Speed Dial.
  4. Choose a contact from the list.
  5. To find a specific person, tap the Search icon in the upper-right corner.
  6. Enter the person's name.
  7. Select their name to assign them to the selected key.

Someone Outside Your Organization

  1. Press and hold an available key on the expansion module.
  2. The Assign Line Key window appears.
  3. Select Speed Dial.
  4. Tap the Add (blue soft key) button.
  5. Enter the phone number you want to assign.
  6. Save the entry.

Note: Custom labels for external numbers are not available unless the contact has been added to your Teams contacts or speed dial list.

Remove an Assigned Key

  1. Press and hold the assigned key.
  2. Select Unassign Line Key from the pop-up menu.

LED Status Indicators

Green LED

  • Solid Green: Contact is available.

Yellow LED

  • Solid Yellow: Contact status is Busy, Away, Be Right Back, or Off Work.

Red LED

  • Solid Red: Contact is on a call, in a conference, or has Do Not Disturb enabled.
  • Flashing Red: Contact has an incoming call or has a call on hold/parked.

Tip

The LED indicators provide a quick view of a contact's Microsoft Teams presence and call status, making it easier to determine availability before placing a call.
