Generating a list of your WorkGroup memberships

WorkGroups (a.k.a WGroups) are used to provide access to shared folders and to build email lists. Follow this process to generate a list of all WorkGroups (WGroups) you belong to. This information is particularly useful to share with your supervisor if you are changing positions on campus or leaving the university.
1. Open Software Center from task bar of your university device (use Search).
2. Install "Get User Group Information".
3. Once installed, return to the Search bar on your desktop to find and select "Get Group List". A black window will appear; do not close the window.
4. A dialogue box will appear listing your group memberships (see below). Choose "Save as Text File" to save a copy or "Copy to Clipboard" to paste immediately into a document. NOTE: Only the bulleted list of group memberships will be saved or copied. The verbiage at the top will not.
