Accessing the Application
To access the system, you must have:

A NetID (Username without the @uwplatt.edu) OR
Guest User ID (received via Guest User email notification)

A password
-
A computer with a web browser
-
Duo - Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for students and staff.
Web Browser Support Requirements
PASS supports all major operating systems and browsers. However, certain browsers may produce issues, so please review
PASS - Supported Browsers article for more information.
NOTE: Clearing your web browser's cache is highly recommended before logging into PASS.
NOTE: To support the delivery of generated reports and files, workstations need to have a viewer for PDF and Excel files.
How to Login
- Verify your Username (or Guest User ID) and Password are available.
- Open web browser (it is recommended to clear your cache before logging in)
- Navigate to PASS:
- Applicants, Student and Staff, use: PASS Sign In
- On the Sign In page, enter your Username (in all lower case) and press Next, then enter your Password and press Verify.

- After signing in, Students and Staff will need to successfully complete the Duo challenge (second factor of authentication):

- Parents/Guests of Students, use: https://go.uwplatt.edu/guestpass
- On the PASS page, enter your Guest User ID (in all CAPS) and Password

NOTE: Passwords are case sensitive. (If errors occur, please verify Caps Lock is turned off and try again.)
Following Log In
After successfully logging in and accessing the PASS application, the system will direct the user to the appropriate page for their access level. Students and their guests will go to the PASS Campus Experience Dashboard, while Staff, Faculty, and Advisors will land on the appropriate home page tied to their role, unless a personalized home page was previously defaulted.
