Retrieving your Forgotten Password

Can't remember your UW-Platteville password? Use your challenge responses to access your account and reset your password. NOTE: If you do not remember your challenge responses, you can contact the ITS Help Desk during regular business hours for assistance.  ITS can never reset a password via email.

1. Go to the UW-Platteville Password Self-Service page at https://go.uwplatt.edu/passwords and click Forgotten Password.

2. Enter your UW-Platteville NetID (username)

3. Click Search

4. Enter the answers to your challenge response questions and click Check Responses.  Remember the answers to these questions are case-sensitive!  You will be required to answer two of the four questions you selected when you set up your challenge responses.

5. Enter a new password in both fields which conforms to the requirements above

6. Click Change Password.
