Updating your challenge response questions

Instructions for updating your challenge response questions after initial set-up. NOTE: Effective 03.21.23, Password Self-Service will use Single Sign-On (SSO), which requires two-factor authentication. Have your Duo device ready.

1. Go to the UW-Platteville Password Self-Service page at https://go.uwplatt.edu/passwords and Sign in.
2. New! Select the Sign-in tile
3. New! Enter your NetID (username) and password and follow the Duo prompts for two-factor authentication.
4. New! Re-enter your password and click Sign in.
5. Click on Setup Security Questions
6. Click Clear Answers to clear the current responses.
7. Select and answer each of the 4 questions, then click Save Answers.
8. Select and answer each of the 2 help desk questions, then click Save Answers
9. Click Continue.

It is important to remember these responses so that you can gain access to your account in the event you forget your password, or your password expires.
