NOTE: If the previous employee in this position completed the Employee Off-boarding Technology Self-Audit, their supervisor should have received a list of that employee's WorkGroup membership to guide your access requests for the new hire. Please review and evaluate the WorkGroup list carefully before requesting access. The new employee may not need access to all the same WorkGroups as the former employee.

Before an existing device is reassigned to a new employee, it should be wiped and re-imaged to remove the previous user's data as well as ensure it is running the most current supported operating system. Complete the Computer Reassignment request to begin this process. In some cases, it would be better to decommission an older device than to reassign it. Your support liaison will assist in evaluating an appropriate course of action. Please do not give spare devices directly to employees; contact the Help Desk for assistance.
