PASS CX - Completing a Pre-Registration Agreement

Main and Baraboo Sauk County and Distance undergraduate degree-seeking students are required to meet with an advisor before registering for regular (Spring and Fall) terms. Students will be assigned a registration hold and corresponding Pre-Registration Agreement that will require a PIN to complete and release the hold. Once your PIN is acquired from your advisor, follow the steps below.

  1. Log into PASS CX.
  2. From the PASS CX Dashboard, click on the Pre-Registration Agreement in the Tasks tile.

  3. This will open up the Tasks page. Click on Pre-Registration Agreement again at the top-left. The agreement will open in a new tab.

  4. Complete the steps before entering your PIN. NOTE: Graduate and Special students will not have the Pin step.  You can track your progress in the progress bar.

  5. Read the message in the Introduction. Click Confirm, then Next.
  6. Complete the Martial Property Agreement. Confirm or update your Marital Status, and enter your Residence. Click Submit then Next.

  7. Read and Accept the Financial Agreements. Select Next after each.

  8. If you have a pin step (Graduate and Special Students may move onto Step 10 below), enter the four-digit PIN that you obtained from your advisor and click submit. Ensure the hold is removed successfully. If the PIN is rejected, double-check the number and try again. Contact your advisor if you believe you have the wrong PIN. If your PIN gets locked, you will need to contact the Registrar's Office to reset it.  NOTE: New incoming Freshmen on Main and Baraboo Sauk County campuses will receive their pin during NSE (New Student Experience).

  9. You will receive a success message if the PIN is correct. If incorrect, you have 10 attempts before being locked out. The Registrar’s Office will need to reset your PIN once locked, so confirm your PIN with your advisor beforehand. You can exit the guide in the upper left and re-enter the agreement in the Task Tile after your PIN is reset.

  10. On the last page, click Submit to release your agreement hold.

You will be returned to the PASS CX Tasks page. Return to the Dashboard, and verify your registration hold and task has been removed.
